FM: Strong, stable Pakistan great resort for Islamic world 


IRI Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki said here Wednesday evening in a meeting with Head Minister of Pakistan’s Punjab Province Shahbaz Sharif a strong and stable Pakistan is a great resort for Islamic world. 

Mottaki considering security and stability of Pakistan the security and stability of Iran during the meeting and said that Tehran-Islamabad relations are quite friendly and comprehensive.
He further reiterated, “Considering the existing broad potentials for further expansion of cooperation and economic ties, this is an important objective that needs to be materialized.”
He added, “In agricultural, industrial, and commercial fields, as well as the service sector, there are vast opportunities for cooperation between Iran and Pakistan.”
Mottaki said that stability and security are two main prerequisites for advancement and development, emphasizing, “Insecure conditions are not aimed today restrictedly at Afghanistan and Pakistan, and if chaotic conditions would not be uprooted totally their dimensions would expand both eastward and westward.”
Shahbaz Sharif, too, during the meeting emphasizing the need for continuous consultations between the two countries, asked for further improvement of Tehran-Islamabad relations in entire fields, particularly in business and economic fields, and for increasing the volume of two countries’ annual trade.
The Head Minister of Pakistan’s largest province also presented a report on latest developments in his country.
