Welcome to the Economic and Trade Section

Our goal is to provide information on the potentials in the Islamic Republic of IRAN and the business opportunities that exists for expanding international economic and trade relations, with special emphasize on the non oil exports of Iran. As an embassy in Ottawa, we will be happy to facilitate the promotion of economic and trade relations between the interested parties.

The followings are the main areas, this department is active in:

1- To introduce the Iranian manufacturers and exporters to the Canadian Companies; on the other hand, economic and trade section prepares the proper information on Canadian Companies for Iranian applicants by virtue of goods and products.

2- To assist the Canadian Companies which are interested in investment and doing business with Iran.

3- To put together information about current developments related to Iran's economic situation and supplying the interested Canadian Companies and institutions with such information.

This section is also ready to provide assistance to the Canadian Companies in order to achieve the above-mentioned goal.
